Whether you’ve read The Book of Roses before or you’re dipping into the series for the first time, Lavender’s Wolf serves as both a continuation of the narrative and a shorter standalone story that newcomers can enjoy. Happy reading!
Young Wolfram dreams of becoming a knight, yet the path to knighthood is an arduous one.
Sworn to serve as a squire in the household of an ageing baron, Wolfram soon realises that greater challenges than martial training and courtly manners await him. His lord’s castle is crumbling, his knights feeble, and outlaws and extortionists prey on the estate unchecked. A growing infatuation with the baron’s daughter, the enchanting Lady Ingrid, binds Wolfram’s heart to the fate of the manor, yet a dark secret lurks within the castle that threatens to turn Wolfram’s dream into a nightmare.
How high is the price of knighthood, and how much must Wolfram sacrifice in the name of fealty?

In other news, progress on future novels in the series is going well! The next entry, Calia’s Needle, is scheduled for release on the 15th of October. Cover reveal should be coming within the next few days! I’ve also spent the last couple of months working on a prequel novel, Mender of Monsters, the first draft of which is just about done. The editing process will keep it in the oven for a while longer, but barring any catastrophic mishaps, I plan on releasing it in January, possibly as early as the first day of the new year.
On the side, I’ve been hard at work planning The Song of Silver, the first part of which will likely release at some point in 2025. The scope of the story is broad enough that I’m fairly certain it will be at least two novels, possibly three.
Keep an eye out for more updates in the coming months! There’s a lot of work still in the pipeline, and it’s not slowing down anytime soon.
